BREAKING NEWS: Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte fell seriously ill on the evening of March 11 and was receiving oxygen on the plane carrying him to trial in the Netherlands after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for him on charges of crimes against humanity related to Duterte’s role in the drug war that killed nearly 10,000 Filipinos.
According to Mr. Bong Gu, a former lawmaker and close confidant of Mr. Duterte, he is continuing to monitor the current condition of the president, who is staying at Villamor Airbase tonight (the plane carrying him to trial).
He added that Mr. Duterte’s oxygen tank ran out in four hours and that he was very worried. He warned that if anything happened to Mr. Duterte, the Filipino people would not accept it.
